Which tanks is it best for?
The AL-180 is made for nano planted aquariums and desktop tanks around 20 cm. It gives enough light for easy low-light plants such as Anubias nana, mosses, Bucephalandra and small Cryptocoryne, and looks great on a rimless nano aquascape. How to use it
Sit the lamp across the nano tank on its brackets and run it 7–8 hours a day on a timer. Nano tanks are small and algae-prone, so keep the photoperiod tight, include a dark night period, and keep the tank out of direct sunlight.
