Seachem Cupramine
Seachem Cupramine treats ectoparasites and external infections — including Ich, Velvet, and similar parasites — in both freshwater and marine aquariums. It's formulated to be gentler than older copper-based treatments like copper sulfate: it's non-acidic, stays active in solution, and won't contaminate your filter bed.
Cupramine works at low concentrations with a wide safety margin between the effective dose and the toxic dose, and it's easily removed afterward with standard carbon filtration.
Before you treat: Many fish diseases share similar symptoms — clamped fins, lesions, loss of appetite — so it's worth confirming the diagnosis before dosing. Cupramine is best used in a hospital or quarantine tank, not directly in a display tank with sensitive invertebrates or plants.
When your fish are showing signs of stress or disease, fast, correct treatment is what protects the tank you've spent months building — Cupramine is a trusted first response for Indian hobbyists dealing with Ich and Velvet outbreaks.
