Why Saki-Hikari Growth works for developing koi

• It is formulated for accelerated growth and championship form in koi during their formative period.
• Balanced lipids are used to help grow jumbo koi while reducing problematic internal fat deposits.
• Carefully selected proteins are chosen so that even finicky koi digest them readily.
• The floating pellet lets you watch each koi feed and judge portions, which makes overfeeding easier to spot.
• It is part of Saki-Hikari, Hikari's professional koi line made with the Hikari-Germ process.

Who it is for (and who should pick something else)

Pick Growth if your koi are young or still building body size and you want steady development. It is the food to choose when form and size matter more than colour at this stage.

When your koi have the size you want and colour is the priority, consider moving to Saki-Hikari Color Enhancing Medium Pellet. Some keepers use both across a season, depending on the age and goal for each fish. The 500g pack is a practical way to try Growth before buying a larger bag. This is a pond koi pellet, so for small goldfish see Hikari Goldfish Gold Baby.

How to feed

Feed the amount your koi finish in a few minutes, based on water temperature and activity. Feed actively in warm water, reduce the amount as the pond cools, and never leave uneaten pellets in the pond.

Small, frequent meals suit growing koi better than a single large feed. Keep the bag sealed in a cool, dry place, and use a dry scoop each time.

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy Saki-Hikari Growth online in India?

You can buy Saki-Hikari Growth online from Fish Bazaar in 500g, 2kg and 5kg packs. We ship across India from Dombivali West, send a video of your product before dispatch and share tracking on WhatsApp.

Is Saki-Hikari Growth good for young koi?

Yes, it is designed for the formative growth stage, promoting size and form with digestible, balanced nutrition. It is a good fit for koi that are still developing rather than fully grown show fish.

Does Saki-Hikari Growth float or sink?

It floats. A floating pellet lets you see how quickly your koi eat and when to stop, and it makes it easy to net out leftovers.

When should I feed Saki-Hikari Growth?

Feed actively in warmer water and reduce feeding as pond temperatures drop. Several small meals a day work better than one large meal, as long as the koi finish each portion.

What is the difference between Growth and Color Enhancing?

Growth is aimed at size and form in young koi, while Color Enhancing is aimed at Hiban red and Shiroji white in koi that are developing well. Choose by what your koi need right now.

Which pack size should I choose?

Choose 500g to test, 2kg for a small pond or regular use, and 5kg for larger ponds or several fish. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 91523 30102 if you would like help choosing.
