At a glance

Why Life Aayu Baby Bites Gel Mix works for baby fish

• Soft gel texture: easy for fry to bite and swallow, which suits fussy young fish.
• High protein: supports steady growth through the early weeks.
• Enzyme-powered: digestive enzymes are included to support easy digestion.
• Handmade in India: made without artificial fillers, according to the maker.

Who it is for (and who should pick something else)

Choose the Gel Mix if you are raising fry and want a soft, digestible food, or if your fry have been slow to accept dry powder. It is made for baby fish, so it is not meant as the only food for large adults. If you want a dry fine-particle option that is quick to dose in pinches, look at Life Aayu Baby Bites. For a brine shrimp base use Artemia Gel Mix, and for bloodworm protein for fry and nano fish use Bloodworm Gel Mix.

How to feed

• Prepare the gel as directed on the pack, and feed a small amount 2 to 3 times a day.
• Give only as much as the fry finish quickly, then remove leftovers because soft food can foul water faster than dry food.
• Keep fry tanks clean with small, regular water changes.
• Store the unprepared pack in a cool, dry place, tightly closed.

Frequently asked questions

What is gel fish food and why use it for fry?

Gel fish food is a soft, moist food prepared before feeding. For fry it is easy to eat and digest, and it does not scatter like dry powder. Life Aayu Baby Bites Gel Mix adds protein and digestive enzymes for young fish.

Where can I buy gel food for baby fish online in India?

You can buy Life Aayu Baby Bites Gel Mix online from Fish Bazaar. We ship across India from Dombivali West, send a video of your product before it ships and share tracking on WhatsApp. Pick 1, 2 or 3 packs of 15 g on this page.

How often should I feed fry with gel food?

Feed a small amount 2 to 3 times a day. Give only what the fry finish quickly and clear away the rest, since uneaten gel food dirties a small tank fast.

Is the Gel Mix different from Baby Bites?

Yes. Baby Bites is a fine dry food, while the Gel Mix is soft and enzyme-powered. Both are high in protein and made for fry, so many breeders use them in rotation.

Can I use gel mix for nano fish and small adults?

Small-mouthed nano fish can take it as a soft treat or supplement. It is made for baby fish, so base the diet of adults on a food made for their species.

How should I store it?

Keep the pack cool, dry and tightly closed, and prepare only the amount you need for each feeding. Opened fish food cannot be returned, so choose the pack count that matches the number of fry you are raising.
