Who is it for?
This lamp is for turtle and tortoise keepers who need a UVA/UVB basking light. It is not a plant-growth or display light for fish tanks — for planted aquariums use a full-spectrum light such as the Sobo AL-380, and for green-water control use a UV-C steriliser. It is similar to the Bluepet BL-F01.
How to use it
Position the lamp over a basking area so your pet can warm up and absorb UV, following safe distance guidance for the species. Provide a basking spot plus a cooler shaded area so the animal can self-regulate, and run it during daytime hours with a dark night period. Replace UV lamps periodically, as UVB output fades over time even when the lamp still lights.
