The Blue Pet XF-2834 is an ultra-small air-stone sponge filter for nano and betta tanks from 1 to 10 gallons, giving clean, highly oxygenated water and a gentle current in setups where space is tight. Air-driven and tiny, it draws water through a bio-sponge that traps debris and hosts beneficial bacteria — the ideal filter for desktop aquariums, quarantine tanks, fish bowls and betta habitats where a full-size filter simply will not fit.

Which tanks is it best for?
The XF-2834 is made for the smallest setups — 1 to 10 gallon nano tanks, betta habitats, fish bowls, desktop aquariums and quarantine tanks. For tanks larger than ~10 gallons, step up to the Bluepet XF-2835 or XF-280. It needs an air pump and airline.
How to set it up
Connect airline from a small air pump, place the filter in the tank, and let the air-stone bubbles draw water through the sponge. Keep it running 24/7 and rinse the sponge in old tank water (never tap water) when flow slows. See how aquarium filters work.
