We ship from India to anywhere in India. Live plants (like our terrarium and aquascape range) are packed with care for transit. Equipment ships in original packaging where possible. If anything arrives damaged or not as described, reach out within a couple of days and we'll make it right. Order tracking is shared once your parcel leaves us.
How we choose what to stock
We carry a brand only if it passes three filters:
- It works in Indian conditions. Our climate, water and tap chlorine are different from the West, some imports that work overseas under-perform here. If a product doesn't deliver in our tank room, it doesn't go on the site.
- It's honestly priced. We don't carry premium brands just for the markup; if an Indian brand does the job as well, we'll point you to it.
- The hobbyist community trusts it. If experienced aquarists across India would recommend it to a friend, we want to carry it. If they wouldn't, we don't.
Why we started Fish Bazaar
Fish Bazaar started because Indian hobbyists kept getting let down by two extremes: marketplace listings that gave no real information and arrived broken, and tiny local shops that didn't carry the brands serious keepers wanted. We'd been keeping fish ourselves for years, community tanks, planted scapes, bettas, cichlids and we kept ending up importing personally or driving across cities to find specific products.
