Carpets are root and water-column feeders
Plants like Monte Carlo, dwarf hairgrass, glosso and Marsilea root into the substrate and also draw from the water. So you feed both: a rich substrate or aquasoil with root tabs below, and an all-in-one in the water column above.
The carpet fertiliser stack
