Neo-Helios
Neo-Helios makes premium ultra-slim, full-spectrum LED lights for planted aquariums. This collection features Neo-Helios flat LED fixtures and nano lights engineered for vivid plant growth and natural colour rendering in aquascapes.
What's inside the Neo-Helios range
- Flat LED lights: the XP-300 (16W) and XP-600 (32W) ultra-slim full-spectrum fixtures for planted tanks.
- Nano lights: the Flat Nano S3 Plus and S3 Pro+ (13W, 10000K) full-spectrum LEDs for nano and small planted tanks.
How to choose the right Neo-Helios light
Match the fixture length to your tank and your plant needs. Low- to medium-light plants thrive under the Nano S3 and XP-300; denser carpets and red plants do best with the higher-output XP-600, ideally paired with CO₂ and a good fertilizer routine. Run the light 6–8 hours a day on a timer.

Frequently asked questions
Are Neo-Helios lights good for a planted tank?
Yes. Neo-Helios full-spectrum flat LEDs are designed for planted aquariums and support healthy growth and strong plant colour.
Do I need CO₂ with a Neo-Helios light?
For low- to medium-light plants, no. For the high-output XP-600 with demanding carpets or red plants, adding CO₂ gives the best results and helps avoid algae.
How many hours should I run a Neo-Helios light?
Run it 6–8 hours a day on a timer, with a consistent dark night period, and keep the tank out of direct sunlight to limit algae.
